The Oppenheimer Memorial Trust (OMT) awards funding to individuals at higher education institutions as well as organisations in the education, social justice and arts & culture sectors. Individual scholarships are awarded for postgraduate study at Masters, Doctoral and Postdoctoral level, as well as sabbatical research grants for full time Academics employed at South African Higher Education Institutions. The New Frontiers Research Award is an award aimed at supporting early to mid career researchers, and the Harry Oppenheimer Fellowship Award serves to reward excellence and exceptional scholarship in all its forms. Organisational funding includes: Early Childhood Development (ECD) & Youth Development, Basic Education, Social Justice and Arts & Culture
